Dear Boss is a band based on the compositions of metaphysical theorist and mathemagician Michael Anthony Crawford. In early 2004 bassist Jackson Milgaten and drummer Chris Crowin joined Crawford in order to flush out his intricately crafted mini opuses. With the force of the rhythm section behind his hauntingly beautiful melodies and bizarrely arranged structure, the songs became a dichotomy of powerful dark country rock and swirling ethereal gothic folk. After moving from southern California to Phoenix AZ, the trio started to play shows regularly and began writing material for a full length album. With the addition of pianist Logan Hallay the group was completed and the quartet set out to record their debut. After a year of set backs (both personal and technical) Dear Boss released "Send Flowers" to a bewildered public.
